SellSparkAI is an AI-powered product photography optimization service specifically designed for Etsy sellers. Our platform transforms your existing product photos into professionally optimized images through a multi-phase AI pipeline.

What we do:

  • AI Analysis: Our AI vision models (OpenAI GPT) analyze your uploaded photo to identify product type, category, materials, colors, and target audience
  • Best Practices Research: We research Etsy-specific photography requirements for your product category
  • Framework Generation: AI generates customized recommendations for staging, props, backgrounds, lighting, and composition
  • Image Generation: AI (Google Gemini) creates new, optimized product images based on your original photo
  • Quality Enhancement: Images are upscaled (Runware) to high resolution and optimized for Etsy's requirements

Creating an account is quick and easy. You have two options:

Option 1: Email Registration

  1. Click "Get Started" or "Sign Up" on our homepage
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Create a password (minimum 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, and numbers)
  4. Complete verification (see next FAQ)

Option 2: Social Login

  • Sign in using your Google or Pinterest account
  • Email is automatically verified through the OAuth provider

You must be at least 18 years old to use SellSparkAI. See our Terms of Service for eligibility requirements.

To prevent abuse of our free service, we require verification for free tier access:

Spark Ignite Basic (3 photos/month):

  • Requires SMS verification of your mobile phone number
  • We use Telnyx for secure SMS delivery
  • Your phone number is only used for verification and account security

Spark Ignite Premium (5 photos/month):

  • Requires adding a valid payment card on file
  • Your card is NOT charged for the free tier
  • Processed securely through Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant)

Important: Each phone number and payment card may only be associated with one account. See our Privacy Policy for details on verification data handling.

Device fingerprinting is used exclusively for fraud prevention to protect both you and our service from abuse.

Why 60 days? We retain uploaded photos temporarily to provide effective customer support if you have questions about your optimization results.

Yes! You receive a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the AI-optimized photos for any lawful commercial purposes, including:

  • Etsy product listings
  • Other e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, eBay, etc.)
  • Social media marketing
  • Print materials and advertisements
  • Your own website

Important Copyright Notice: Under current U.S. Copyright Office guidance, AI-generated content without sufficient human authorship may not be eligible for copyright protection. You have full usage rights as described above, but you may not be able to register copyright in purely AI-generated portions. See our Terms of Service Section 6 for complete IP details.

Photo credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle.

How it works:

  • Your 30-day billing cycle starts from your subscription date (anniversary billing)
  • Your photo counter resets to zero at the start of each new cycle
  • Unused photos expire at the end of your billing period

Example: If you're on Spark Starter (50 photos/month) and only use 30 photos, the remaining 20 photos expire when your 30-day cycle ends.

Billing Cycle: All subscriptions operate on a 30-day billing cycle starting from your subscription date (anniversary billing).

Payment Methods: Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link

Currency: All fees are charged in USD (United States Dollars).

Payment Security: All payments are processed securely through Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant). We never store complete credit card information.

Taxes: Applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) are calculated automatically based on your billing address using Quaderno. Tax amounts are displayed at checkout before payment.

To change your subscription tier:

  1. Log in to your SellSparkAI account

  4. Select your new tier and confirm

Upgrade Billing: You'll be charged a prorated amount immediately for the difference between tiers. Your new photo limit takes effect immediately.

Downgrade Billing: The change takes effect at your next billing date. You retain your current tier's benefits until then.

Downgrade to Free: Your paid subscription will be set to cancel at period end, and you'll transition to Spark Ignite Premium (5 photos/month).

Photo Top-Ups are one-time purchases of additional photo credits for paid tier subscribers who need more photos than their monthly allowance.

Available Top-Ups: +5 Photos, +10 Photos, +20 Photos

Important:

  • Top-ups are added immediately to your current billing cycle
  • Top-up photos expire at the end of your 30-day cycle
  • Top-ups do not roll over to the next billing period
  • Top-ups are non-refundable (subject to applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction)
  • Only available to paid tier subscribers

Yes. Your paid subscription will automatically renew every 30 days on your billing date.

Important (ROSCA/CA ARL Disclosure): You will be charged the then-current subscription fee unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you expressly acknowledge and consent to these automatic recurring charges.

To prevent renewal: Cancel your subscription at any time via Settings β†’ Subscription β†’ Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period. See Terms of Service Section 5 for complete auto-renewal terms.

If your payment method fails:

  1. Stripe will automatically retry the charge using Smart Retries
  2. You'll receive email notifications with a link to update your payment method
  3. Your subscription enters a "past due" grace period where you maintain full access
  4. If payment cannot be collected after multiple attempts, your subscription will be cancelled

Cancellations & Refunds

  1. Log in to your SellSparkAI account
  2. Navigate to Settings β†’ Subscription
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Confirm cancellation

No phone calls or support tickets required. Cancellation is immediate and self-service.

After cancellation:

  • You retain full access until the end of your current 30-day billing period
  • No further automatic charges will occur
  • Unused photos expire at the end of your period (no refund)
  • Your account transitions to Spark Ignite Premium (5 photos/month)
  • You'll receive an email confirmation

Changed your mind? Click "Keep Current Plan" in the dashboard banner before your period ends.

Due to the instant digital delivery nature of our AI service, we generally do not offer refunds once photos are processed, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

We WILL provide refunds for:

  • Service Outages: If our service is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours
  • Technical Errors: If technical issues prevent you from receiving your optimized photos
  • Unauthorized Charges: Confirmed unauthorized activity on your account
  • Billing Errors: Duplicate charges, wrong amounts, or system errors
  • Statutory Consumer Rights: Required by applicable law (see jurisdiction-specific FAQs below)
